A really cute and nice song, aku menemukannya saat sedang browsing di You Tube. Lagu ini bercerita tentang keganasan hamster (judulnya aja ‘Ketika Hamster Menyerang’), yang sebetulnya agak gak masuk akal karena hamster adalah binatang yang sangat lucu. Iya sih emang kadang mereka menggigit, tapi itu juga kalau dia lagi sebel karena alasan tertentu.

Oh ya, cerita tentang keganasan hamster ini tidak hanya berakhir dalam lagu ini, tetapi juga dibahas (lebih tepatnya diparodikan) dalam sebuah website yang diklaim sebagai America’s #1 Website for Hamster Attack Prevention. Both the song and the website are very entertaining and interesting

Humuhumunukunukuapua’a

Susah gak sih bacanya? Humuhumunukunukuapua’a, jadi ingat pelajaran spelling pas kuliah dulu. Baca dengan teliti dan ucapkan beberapa kali sampai lancar. Humuhumunukunukuapua’a. Dah bisa gak bacanya?

Apa sih sebetulnya Humuhumunukunukuapua’a ini?
Well, pertama kali mendengar kata ini sebagai judul sebuah lagu di Highschool Musical II. Lagunya lumayan lucu dan ear-catching. Ternyata setelah baca-baca lebih detail lagi, Humuhumunukunukuapua’a meruapakan official state fish Hawaii sejak tahun 1990 dan lebih dikenal dengan ikan humuhumu yang dalam bahasa Hawaii artinya  “triggerfish with a pig-like short snout”

Another Friday … waktu rasanya seperti berlari. Pagi hari yang mendung, mengingatkan aku akan kota Malang. Sampai di kantor, buka laptop, sambil nunggu loading semua page kerjaan aku membuat list lagu untuk winamp-ku.  Semua lagu nasyid Opick dan Gigi aku masukkan dalam list.

Lagu pertama, Semesta Bertasbih, hiks … kok pengen nangis ya dengernya. Aku kangen Ramadhan Kalau denger lagu ini aku selalu ingat Ramadhan tahun kemarin, gara-garanya lagu ini dipakai sebagai soundtracknya RCTI. Merinding deh pas mendengarkan lagu ini dengan seksama.
